A Teacher is the only password to unlock great knowledge and wisdom in our life. A Teacher is not limited to profession who teaches his students for a profit, but could be anyone who shares knowledge and skills that helps us to become successful in our career and life. We get inspired of great teachings and ideologies of people who come across in our life, is also a Teacher as well. We always remember our favorite teachers; who taught academic skills, inspired us, shaped our character and cultivated discipline.
As the saying goes, ‘we seek education from the cradle to grave’, our learning starts from the time of birth and lasts till the end journey of one’s life. Parents are our Natural Teachers who educate us until we grew to certain age to handle on our own. Later, we seek education from our educational institutions to become a responsible part of our great society. We admire our Parents or Teachers because of their teaching compassion that helps us in various levels.

Teacher is a person who helps others to gain knowledge, values or competences. Teaching is one of the noble professions in the world and is always proven that behind every successful student (or an individual); there is always a good Teacher. A Teacher plays important role in building a better yet strong country by educating the youngsters through proper guidance and discipline. Many great leaders, scholars, scientists along with many successful Professionals have acknowledged and dedicated their achievements to their Teachers.
Mother Nature is also our great Teacher to understand the world and about the life itself. We learn many things from our Nature by observing, spiritual practices, research and through mystical experiences. As we look into our history books, our ancestors has mentioned the Mother Nature as a powerful Teacher and worshiped as Divine or God. Nowadays, even modern teaching methods are adopting many aspects in Nature to teach the students to foster a better learning.

We always remember our Teachers in every walk of our lives, even though we might forget a lot of people in our lives. Everyone remembers and cherish the wonderful memories of their childhood along with the teachings of their favorite Teachers. On the 5th October of every year we celebrated the World Teachers’ Day or International Teachers’ Day to honor, appreciate and acknowledge the efforts of Teachers in the field of education. In India, 5th September is being celebrated as Teachers’ Day on the occasion of birth anniversary of a great teacher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
The teachings of great Teachers ignite the spark of knowledge in our society. Hence, it is obvious that a Teacher is given utmost importance and respect in any society. There are many famous Teachers in the History of the world, Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Smt.Savitribai Phule, Swami Vivekananda, Chanakya, Friedrich Froebel, John Amos Comenius, Anne Sullivan, Aristotle, John Adams, Sir Albert Einstein and Sir Isaac Newton, and many others who inspired the world with their incredible ability of teaching skills.
